On the warrant of arrest issued v. Senator Ping Lacson

“I am saddened by the reports that a warrant of arrest has been issued against Senator Ping Lacson.

“Mataas ang respeto ko kay Senador Lacson, at sigurado ako na pinag-isipan niyang mabuti ang kanyang mga hakbang patungkol dito sa kasong ito (I hold Senator Lacson in high regard, and I am sure that he thought carefully about the steps he would take regarding this case).

“I do not need to advise him what he has to do. Kung kailangan niya ng katulong para matiyak ang kanyang kaligtasan, nakahanda kaming tumulong sa kanya (We are ready to assist him secure his safety if he needs any help).”
