Reluctant Actor

Interestingly, Mar isn’t your typical people pleaser. He doesn’t do crowds. If I know him, he would, at anytime, prefer a relaxed, quiet day at home alone or with just a few friends and family to while the hours away. Unfortunately being in politics robs him of that choice, which is why he doesn’t like politics very much. Oh how Mar despises the sham, the glitz, the gimmick that surrounds politics. When I was working for him mostly on TV shoots, pictorials and recordings, I recall always having to deal with a “reluctant actor”. Mar is too honest for his own good, and he hates acting. He thinks it is hypocritical. Hello, kaya nga acting?!? Mar is not perfect like the rest of us but his heart has always been in the right place. And where his dream of becoming President is concerned, he’s always had the best intentions.
