Statesman

Mar is a politician who’s evolved into a statesman on his own terms, tracing a lineage of service but forging his own path ahead, one that all Filipinos can learn and benefit from. Voters and citizens will get a technocrat who makes policies work for the marginalized; a businessman who brings the best of the international private sector experience to tidy up the Augean stables of government; a person who has had the world as his oyster but has never forgotten his roots; and a decent human being who could have done everything else but serve his country through the perversion that is politics, and has just redefined it as he has with his growth as a person, leader, mentor, and friend. Concretely, we’ll see a strong Vice President and concurrent Cabinet Secretary; someone who’ll build party politics into what it was meant to be — about vital national issues not narrow special interests — and help restore our country into a democracy again, ready for his leadership to take us further come 2016.

  • Nepcosimo M. Guisona

Sen. Roxas is the most prepared candidate for Vice President. Along with Noynoy they will saw seeds of hope for this rotten government. They will heal this land. They will make country better once again. His credentials and academic preparation speaks for itself. His work in the Congress and the Senate speaks for itself.

Now we know Mar Roxas is a sore loser who cannot accept defeat. That is not a statesman and RIP to his presidential ambitions in 2016 because historically, losers for the VP or Presidency don’t get second chances.
