He cannot and will not sit idly by as the savings of the victimized planholders disappear into thin air, along with their dreams and hopes.

Mar continues to provide free legal assistance for the victims of the Legacy Group and other collapsed pre-need firms through the pre-need hotline at 0919 627 6927. He has joined the victims in filing syndicated estafa cases against Celso Delos Angeles and other officials of the Legacy Group. He is also pushing for a stronger Pre-Need Code which will reform the industry and strengthen regulatory mechanisms.

Going around the country and talking to the victims has further steeled MAR’s resolve to not stop until the scammers are jailed, and their loot returned to the planholders. To all victims, Mar’s promise continues to ring true: Lalaban tayo.
